Access to Comprehensive Substance Abuse Treatment

At Recovery Centers of Arkansas and Oasis Renewal Center, our primary focus is providing effective substance abuse treatment. We understand that many individuals also experience co-occurring disorders, and our programs are designed to address these alongside substance use disorders as part of a comprehensive treatment approach.

Eligibility and Screening

Eligibility for our services begins with establishing the need for substance abuse treatment. It is important to note that while we are a treatment program, we are not a homeless shelter.

After determining eligibility, a preliminary screening helps assess the most appropriate level of care for each applicant. To ensure effective placement, we follow the patient placement criteria established by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). This evidence-based framework ensures that treatment decisions are clinically sound and meet the unique needs of individuals seeking recovery. ASAM criteria not only guide our recommendations but also support the clinical rationale for medical necessity when requesting specific levels of care.

Referrals for Detox Services

For those requiring detox services, we facilitate referrals to specialized programs that provide this level of care, as Recovery Centers of Arkansas does not offer detox services directly. Once the referred detox services are completed, RCA will have a spot waiting for you!

Tailored Treatment Plans

RCA/Oasis takes into account the unique needs and preferences of each potential client to create a supportive and personalized treatment experience. There is no one-size-fits-all strategy. Tailored treatment plans promote client engagement, as they involve the client in decision-making, fostering a sense of ownership and adherence to their personalized treatment.

Breaking the Stigma and Treating Addiction as a Disease

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to reduce the stigma surrounding addiction. By advocating for fair treatment and educating others, our staff champions the perspective that addiction is a treatable disease—not a moral failing. Through this approach, we empower clients to seek help without judgment and ensure they receive the respect and care they deserve.
