Outpatient treatment for substance use disorders is an excellent option for individuals committed to recovery who must balance treatment with work, school, or other responsibilities. At Recovery Centers of Arkansas and Oasis Renewal Center, we provide evidence-based outpatient services tailored to your unique needs, including options funded by state resources for eligible individuals.
Whether outpatient treatment or inpatient rehab is right for you depends on the severity of your substance use challenges and the presence of any co-occurring medical or mental health conditions. Our team can help assess your situation and recommend the most appropriate level of care.
What is Outpatient Treatment?
Outpatient treatment programs address mild to moderate substance use disorders and provide structured, flexible care. These programs are ideal for individuals with stable home environments and support systems. For those with more severe symptoms or co-occurring mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, or trauma, inpatient rehab may be a better fit.
Levels of Outpatient Treatment
Recovery Centers of Arkansas offers varying levels of outpatient care to meet your specific needs and support you as you progress in recovery. If at any point you feel you need a higher level of care, rest assured our treatment team is here to discuss your options and help you achieve the best possible outcome in your recovery. We’re committed to supporting you every step of the way.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
- Intensive programming four to five days per week, five to six hours daily.
- Often used as a step down from inpatient care or as a starting point for treatment.
- Located at the beautiful Oasis Renewal Center campus
Our Partial Hospitalization, or Day Treatment, Program is a step between the Residential Program and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). PHP provides the same treatment benefits as Residential Treatment but with more flexibility, allowing participants to leave the facility and live in their own homes once treatment Is over each day. PHP is also more affordable than Residential Treatment.
As a step-down program from Residential Treatment, PHP helps participants continue a structured treatment with an easier transition from residential treatment to beginning life again outside of treatment. This is also a great treatment option for those that might not qualify for residential treatment but still need a structured treatment environment.
The Partial Hospitalization Program includes:
- Group Therapy Sessions
- Individualized Care by a Licensed Mental Health Professional
- Recovery Counselor
- Medical Psychiatrist
- Hot lunch daily
We offer 5-day and 7-day options, with 5 hours of groups Monday-Friday and 3 hours of groups on Saturday and Sunday.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
- Sessions three to four days per week, including group and individual therapy.
- Specialty groups available to address unique needs, such as opioid use disorder or gender-specific support.
- Located at the beautiful Oasis Renewal Center campus
Our Intensive Outpatient Program is an effective and flexible step-down program that meets 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) for 3 hours per day so it is easier to work with your schedule. This adds another level to our step-down program that helps the transition be more seamless.
This program is structured to provide a minimum of one individual and three group sessions per week. IOP clients receive weekly sessions with a Licensed Mental Health Professional and a Recovery Counselor who specializes in addiction.
Outpatient Treatment
- Weekly group sessions and monthly individual therapy for those demonstrating stability.
- A great option for transitioning from more intensive care or exploring recovery for the first time.
- Located at our Williamsburg campus in mid-town
